Message	Tasmania is 240 kilometers south of the Australian continent. It is a one hour flyt to the mainland or there is the option of a day trip aboard a ferry. I love it here because it is relatively quiet and not busy. The weather is very unpredictable & you can get all four seasons in one day. It can range from 114 Fahrenheit to 33 Fahrenheit. There are some fantastic roads & there is annual targa Tasmania rally event that is very popular with Australian drivers. The population in 2010 was just over 500,000. Tasmania is famous for a few things. The extinction of the Tasmanian Tiger, the Tasmanian Devil (that is also threatened due to facial tumor) & the Port Arthur massacre that happened when I was in grade 9 (1996). I'm not sure what else there is to say haha.
